What's on the Bench 2024

So as I'm new here I thought I should post up some pictures of my current projects/bench 'stuff' - apologies if this is the wrong thread.

So this is my workspace - freshly tidied just for you guys - yes I do have OCD :smiling:

With some of my stash above...

Current build (a hopefully mojo restoring OBB basic build) is an old Tamiya Late production Sherman. (The wingtip tanks are for a PM models F-5A)

A couple of stalled builds - A Tamiya Tiger 1 (The indy tracks scare the crap out of me) and Airfix's K2/Y Ambulance.

I also have some winged things on the go...

And this F-5A, on a pile of other kits awaiting my possible Iranian Air Force project.

When not working in my room, I do have one of these little Humbrol workstation things, for when I'm sat out in the garden or in the kitchen etc. It's quite useful.

Well that's all from my bench for a mo - I need to go and feed the Scutters.
Nice. Welcome to the forum

Currently rewatching it every day when I have breakfast.
About 25 years ago, I guess, there was a channel here in the Netherlands that broadcast one episode fairly late every weekday night. When they got to the very last episode, they would just start again with the very first the next evening :) My brother and I must have seen every episode at least twice that way, and most three times.

I know its a fair bit off but looking ahead, I'm undecided what to build out of my stash. Two very different builds.

Any thoughts?

A mate of mine asked me to recreate something like this:

He gave me these donor vehicles:

First job was to add the extra wheels:

Then I built the basic structure:

A bit of trimming here & there once it's all dry and I'll be ready to add some detail.

You do like a challenge as well as a change of direction Andy.

That does indeed look a challenge Andy. I'm sure you'll make a fine job of it and your mate will be more than happy.

Don't worry, it won't stay that way for long!

I have another 50 odd in the garage... ;) to be honest, it's far too many
Oh it will!
AND you be just mentioned why.
Too much choice would probably end up with me never completing anything.
For me, one or two is better. :thumb2:

Awesome

Simple Lego jig helping me to cut three identical rectangles, and the Dspiae scribing tape I bought recently is proving invaluable:
