Pauline, her in doors, has been awarded the Distinguished Service Order.

Yes she has put up with me (managed me in truth), deserves a VC really, for 50 years today.

Through thick & thin 50 years of marriage.

So to night the family all 13 of them are putting on an grand eating event.

I shall be there & hopefully so will a few bottles of Sauvignon Blanc.

Congratulations on reaching that milestone.My wife and i have just passed our 11th and she deserves a medal for putting up with me.Dont think i will be reaching the 50 year mark as im 53 Already.I will probably be dead long before then.Nearly managed it at work yesterday.Fell off a mitre high set of steps onto another platform.Landed on my back and Head and winded myself.If i had rolled over i would have fallen another 12 feet onto a concrete floor.Stuck two fingers up at the grim reaper again!.Mind you,he gets us all in the end!.Enjoy your meal Laurie!.

Dave W. Hope you are OK ! Sounded very nasty. Went thro 50years in Architectural Mode inspecting construction & not so much as a scratch. Then tried to film a hill climb & was clobbered by a racing car. Shattered pelvis & vertabrae (splelling ?). 100% recovery though.
