I posted a new album of ww2 pictures of the Royal Air Force, in colour.

I saw them from another modeller and thought I should nab some of them and post them here where they would be better appreciated. There are 59 photos in various locations in several theaters of the war and I present them to you all for your viewing and referencing purposes.

Please copy any or all for your own files and enjoy!

I was thinking about that too. They look like fish too far from water...

"I know there is a war on, but it can wait while we have a nice cup of tea!"

Well if Drake hadn't been playing bowls as the Aramada approached, he sure would have been enjoying a cup of tea on the lawn instead.

I hope these will help other modellers for things like, how far should my cammo-stripes go down, what kind of wear & tear damage and how to apply, diorama ideas with or without damaged planes or even the different shades to choose from. Not even the official paint guides were followed by those in charge, it seems. Also the different color uniforms, jumpsuits, flightsuits and other equipment, to help boost that 'life-like' effect that we're all after...

Nice photos.Dont know what the two rather portly Starfleet officers are doing there though.Must be time travelling again!.
