Hi guys , don`t normaly build aircraft but with so many great spitfires and other aircraft being built on here lately its given me the right bug and everyone loves a spitfire so I`ve ordered the tamiya 1/48 vb and a few other bits from John and have also ordered some xtradecal decals - paint masks and the eduard basic cockpit seatbelt pe kit , are these decals any good as I would like to make the vb with either Biggin hill or Kenley markings as apart from Croydon these are the closest ww2 airfields to me.

Cheers

I i hav used them in the past and found them to be good decals.

All my swastikas are Xtradecals and i've never had a problem with them at all.

The quality is good but check the colour if there are any Icons or graffiti. I have found a couple that had the wrong colour!!!

They go down well and are nice and thin. The register is usually top notch!

Ive used a lot of these decals over the years and found them to be very good. The only problem i have had is with some of the RAF dark blue and red wing roundels.occasionally i've had them with a very thin white outline around part of the circumference of the roundel. Not too big a problem. You just have to cut closely around the edge of the decal with a pair of scissors before dipping it in water.
