    Great pics indeed.
I listened to something fly close to my place today but couldn't see anything.

Forgot to mention the second and third photos are of the PLA Chinese Aerobatic team with a female pilot amongst them flying their latest aircraft. Many now know what the underside markings look like to build the kit.

      Cheers,

Only had my phone on me so not brilliant pictures, I’m guessing it’s a C130? and the day before we had 2 Typhoons dog fighting, but too high up to take pictures.

              I agree, props don't look like a Herc's.

High tail, multi bladed swept props! A400 Atlas.
Good spot too as 75% were reported u/s or in heavy maintenance.

Driving through Duxford on my way to Shepreth yesterday..(Tues), and was lucky enough to spot the two seater Spitfire flying around at a relatively low level.. It was absolutely beautiful to see, unfortunately I couldn't grab a pic as mobile phones and driving lead to a rather large points level being added to your license..

C17,we were treated to several hrs of this beast flying over the town as they practiced landing at Wittering . Last night will be Thursday as they finish night flying using night vision goggles (NVGs) and making approaches to land without the aid of any runway lights !

All good fun and great to see. Far better than the sound of the air training core flying in their wasps ! Well that's what they sound like .

Wandering round a garden centre today I looked up to see a Fairey Swordfish above. Later I watched a Poseidon MRA1 fly low and fast, 500ft, 250kts along the Liverpool waterfront.

Wow, the Swordfish is a rare sight flying...you probably had time to step into the house find your camera, adjust focus and aperture and photograph it still halfway over the house. :smiling6:

                        Cheers,

A very good friend of mine was fortunate to be crew in the Swordfish. Shortest aircrewman in the Navy. He retired only a year or so ago but not before a deserved visit to the palace for recognition of his service!!!

Basically the aerobatic teams from Korea, Indonesia and Russia have arrived. Black Eagles and Russian Knights...

Our Airforce will have their F-18 solo displays. I don't know if the Smokie Bandits team is still in operation since we have stood down our Mig 29s.
I have videos but don't know how to link them from whatsapp.

They had a bit of a hiccup and was delayed coming here. We've purchased Migs and Sukhois in the past so were invited. Can't recall if they had visited for the last LIMA shows. Our fellow modelling member is an Airforce Attache to Moscow and has recently been appointed to Belarus. An ex Mig 29 aerobatic team leader for the Smokie Bandits so perhaps connections I guess or otherwise. Langkawi is a popular destination for Russian tourists.

                                Cheers,
