Belated Birthday Wishes Dan.Comment

Although I haven't been too active here or at the table, I am still on the lookout for a good bargain on the www. and around town I found some new shelving to store the stash on at a local hardware store. 150 kilo capacity for each shelf,
2 for under €60 and I got rid of the saggy plastic ones finally....Trolling evilbay, I also found these 2, a week apart and from the same seller at really good prices,
Hetzer first, for €24 delivered (it's the Academy kit re-boxed w/o the masks) and the Friuls a week later for €20 delivered. When I opened the Friuls, they had the drive sprockets in the sealed bags too. No mention of them on the box though. cool!!!........
Oh, and a belated Happy Birthday from me too Dan!!!

Dude 1 Just because you have some new super duty shelving there is no need to go mad on Evil Bay, mind those Fruils for 20 Euros:thumb2:Although I haven't been too active here or at the table, I am still on the lookout for a good bargain on the www. and around town I found some new shelving to store the stash on at a local hardware store. 150 kilo capacity for each shelf,

I`m starting to run out of Vietnam related AFVs :anguished:.... HOWEVER.....
... I had completely forgotten about one of THESE......
My,my,my..... It`s one i looked at many moons ago,and at that time i also loved the look of it...... but i wasn`t into Vietnam stuff then:rolling:.......
..... but that was then, and this is now!!..............
............. And although i quietly sneaked it into my "Watch List"........ Rach spotted it,and bought it for me!!:surprised:
:thumb2: ,
Following that,i then purchased these.....
Not completely correct for the era,but some of it will be useful!
This should help my Vietnam fix continue for a while yet then?
Don`t ANYONE tell me that Steve,(Airborne 1),recently bought the same stuff!!

The ammo boxes, jerry cans, duffel bags, folding cots and the generic tent rolls are all usable. The ALICE medium packs (the shorter ones with the three outside pockets) are technically not correct but packs looking similar were used in Vietnam; don’t use the ALICE large packs (the taller ones), though, they are very much a post-Vietnam item.
Yep, the M706, AKA Cadillac-Gage V100 Commando.Comment
