    No idea why this useless phone takes one photo ok but then others wonky. Must adjust with a hammer

    As my StuG books shink so my new Japanese navy collection grows lol
    Looks good Bob!

    I sometimes get the picture issue..... In my case I have come to the conclusion that I've not quite rotated the phone enough to make it 'realise' I've got it a different way up..... Just a thought.

      Ah bob I feel your pain ,but I sorted this without help and abuse from the youngest family member ,you know how it goes ,surprised you can turn it on....shouldn't be allowed out on your own ,assuming your phone is similar goto your album find the rouge picture press on the pencil icon thingy then prod the rotation thingy(two arrows chasing each other round in a circle)when its where you want it poke the save word hey presto job done. Right im off to ask if there's a off button because I can only see the on one or is it best to say nothing and leave it to go flat. Dave

        OK chaps, so a 'few' more acquisitions this past week.

        You'll note the following with these latest additions:
        • I've acquired mostly new kits, rather than the usual eBay auction wins;
        • quite a few kits are for my wargaming collection, which I've not bought for in any volume for some time;
        • some are post-1945...that's right.....not WWII!!!!
        • and most importantly.................I have largely returned to the one true scale that is 1/72!!

        Oh...and these came in seven parcels...and there are five more on the way!

        Enjoy!

        Andrew

        --------------------------------------------------------

        You have to love a Centurion and Vespid kits are very nice. This is the Deluxe version and so comes with a metal barrel and 3D resin printed canvas covered effect mantlet.

        The bags contain two 14 piece WWII British artillery crews and kit for my wargaming.

        More reinforcements for my my German forces, albeit I did over-order the mortars as thought here were only two per box! The LeFH18s are very nice for what they are, as I already have two on the shelf of doom. Both sets gets good reviews on the Plastic Soldier Review site.

        Another big order from John ...actually my biggest ever....let just say I have more than made back my forum membership fee this year. Great service as always. He promptly answered questions on the pre-order process and then, even though I only ordered late Wednesday night, I had it by Friday.

        The Wespe is for wargaming, the P-38 and IL-2 complete my WWII wingy thing collection (I think!! ) and I have always liked US Gun Trucks!

        The wet palette was sold c. 40% off, as seconds, due to a cracked lid but nothing that is not easily dealt with.

        These three though are probably the purchases I am most pleased with.

        The Eduard kit was offered for a low 'buy now' price or wait for the auction to run its course. It was actually 20% cheaper than as new and only £10 more than a single new kit...so it would have been rude not to 'buy now'!!

        The two Hummels were courtesy of some lucky eBay bids and although from different sellers, the pair cost the same as one did brand new when first released....at least that what Scalemates and the price on the end of one of the boxes strongly suggest! These have the newer link and length tracks, rather than rubber bands!! Again, I was therefore virtually forced to buy them.

                    Actually, I think only a couple of these were delivered by Royal Mail at most!

                              Been looking at that kit myself but have "promised" the missus no more in the stash (only 12 in it and 2 on the bench) but we shall see ........
