That one above, the A8/R2 is the one I did for the FW190 GB, "Green 3" as pictured on the box. They really are superb kits but being Eduard rather than Tamiya, they do need to be built rather than just glued together. Good prices, I paid £23 for mine

Nice kit yet again Allyne, by the way what is a profipack when it's at home?

Profipack comes with all the PE and sometimes more decal/scheme options. This is generally against the 'Weekend Edition' which does not have PE and only one scheme. (as far as I know anyway)

The Profi packs come with extra goodies as Graham has said,sometimes including detailed info/articles and in one case I remember a small piece of the original aircraft. I don't remember which that was but I think it was an Fw190.

Had a little spending spree on modelhobbies.co.uk, and picked up a few things :mrgreen:

A 1/72 Stuart for Decembers 'not a GB, GB'.

A Revell German Arty set. Comes with two guns, one in transit, fifteen figures, and seven horses. I've got two dios in mind for this set.

And finally, a few 1/35 kits for a future dio.

£40 in total including P+P and a single jar of paint. Not too bad I think.

I know I said I wasn't buying any more kits, that was 6 kits back, but I had to get these.

This (sorry about the blurred image) is a huge box kit but contains a very nicely detailed High Speed Tractor, including nicely done PE mesh engine covers through which you can see the supplied engine and full interior detail. The tracks are vinyl but are superbly done with a great hidden connection technique. Only negative from what I have read is that the drive sprocket wheels are not correct. No worries, bung a load of mud and snow over them eh...... The kit even has pre cut masks for the windows for spraying! I did know this but just in case you do not realise, these kits do not come with the gun that they would tow.

Secondly, as you know I am collecting the bits to do a SAS/LRDG desert diorama. John in his campaign to take over the retail world of modelling thought "I will stock the Pink Panther as, even though a different era to Grahams diorama, he will still have to buy it". All I can say John is that if you think I am that shallow, you are dead right.........

hi all.

Received these in the post today The F-15 comes with the verlinden resin set and with all the included decals 12 different aircraft that i could model it as. LOL. Oh the choices. The F-18 looks to be a good kit with great reviews. I will eventually be doing that one as an RAAF aircraft to go with my F-111. All this cost me £31. Good buy i think.

Well a trip to the post office to pick up the parcel I missed yesterday and I could pack these out.

The new Airfix Sea Vixen in 1/48 and a Roden 1/48 scale S.E.5a. There was also a sheet of decals for a Hunter from 74 squadron.

Ian the kits are nice but two cute kittens are the best buy here, i have to say i am a cat fan a few months back we got a rescue cat from the RSPCA his name is monty at the time he was scared of his own shadow.....now he rules the roost.

Well, postie delivered a box from John again this morning (thanks again John for the continued superb service). In the box is one of the latest editions to the Shop and one I just had to get as soon as I saw it.

The Hobbyboss AAVP-7A1 w/EAAK (Enhanced Applique Armour Kit) in 1:35. This will be the largest and most complex AFV I have bought so far. It comes with complete interior apart from engine but the interior detail in the rear crew compartment is superb and begs for some additional touches like personal belongings, ration boxes water etc.

Dave (Gern) can have a laugh as not only is it individual track links on its very long tracks but each track link is made up of two parts. Oh joy. The packed box contains 15 sprues plus 4 sprues of the second part of the track links and a couple of other small sprues with little detail parts. Add to this a bag of 90 track links and a small PE with superbly made grills, two main hull parts, the main hull and the top and a length of rope, you can see that there are lots of bits. Decals are sparse but the colour sheet gives the option of two versions, both in the green, brown and black camo. One version has the KFOR (Kosovo Force) markings, the other, well quite honestly, not a lot. No real description in the instructions re the theatre of the featured vehicles. This is of little importance as I have seriously caught the 'sand bug' and I propose to do it as a vehicle in Iraq anyway assuming I can get enough research material.

I have been suffering toothache for tha last few days and find it hard to sit here trying to concentrate and it is now time for me to go walkies to take my mind off it so, I have not taken any pics as yet but here is the link to it in the Shop.

I will be doing a full in the box review when I can stay in one place long enough. It is a very impressive looking kit though.
