Nice little, if a tad boring, package just arrived. A set of Bismarck and Ardo coloured paints from Colourcoat enamels. Love these paints, they spray and cover beautifully.

Interestingly, these came packaged in zip lock bags, four in one, six in another which were in a larger zip lock bag full of weird gold plaited granular material of uneven size. So, as a bonus, I also have a bag of random gold plated rubble! Doesn't look gold in the picture but it is lol

That material is called vermiculite I believe. I have hazardous chemicals shipped that are double bagged inside boxes of this stuff. Gardeners use it for potting plants.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

Can't get enough of these 1/32 109s. Continuing on my to three scoring aces builds, is the ace of aces- Erich Hartmann. It has a full Eduard Zoom and Aires cockpit. I managed to snap the kit up for $47 at the local hobby shop

Never been a big fan of paint racks, mainly because of the 'poser forums' where they have to have a huge display of unopened paint behind them in every shot while making videos. Often wonder if they even have paint in them. It's just for show.
However, for practical reasons, I do see the use of them especially when, like me, the paint is stored in that many different drawers, cupboards and boxes. Maybe a smallish rack to keep the regularly used paints to hand would be useful, this looks great Monica
ta Colin,it is good,holds,about 45 bottles,
to join it all just a bit of white glue,

John sells paint racks through Scale Model Shop Monica so I would most likely contact him for them. Thanks for the info though
