Suspension is all done the back axle is not glued so I can make sure I can line it up with propshaft.
The front axle is not for the faint hearted. To enable it to be posed steered the CV joints are incredibly fiddly and made from small parts. but when finished its finished the detail looks good.
Just in case I decide to have the bonnet open later, I have added some pipework and detail to the engine. There is some pipework still to add but that will be added when the engine is in place.
The engine has been fitted to the chassis. I have dusted the engine up a little it will receive a final weather later. The prop shafts have been fitted. For anyone building this the transfer box is a complete pain to fit with very vague instructions, and the next stage show it in a completely different position.
Looking better than good Scottie.
I sometimes wonder if some manufacturers actually get someone to check their instructions. It's also rare for instructions to be amended when issues are flagged up.
Jim, I agree it might just be me, but these seem very bad. I think in this case it's because there are so many versions of this truck so they just add bits for this version.
