I've decided on traditional colours for my Land Rover build, Limestone over Pastel Green:

I've got enough to paint a fleet :tears-of-joy:but at least I know the colours are correct and it works out so much cheaper per ml than "model paint"
Does this mean we will see a fleet of Landies in the future???

Something I have been waiting for for the best part of 5 months the stern plating for my trumpeter titanic
And a bargain the build the deagostini hms victory and 8 packs that I will investigate sometime soon I paid £170 for the whole lot
I think the bottom box is ticking....

Do I see a production line on the horizon? And at 10am here comes Mrs Andy pushing the tea trolly down the assembly line for the workers....

There's lots and lots to paint, so new clips, 1 mm tape and first go at Tamiya masking sheets

First up masks for the recent wingy purchases! The washers are for my next run of in-flight magnetically attached planes.

Now this next one is a real departure. I first came across the T-10 in the early 80s, in a late 1970s board wargame called Arab Israeli Wars by the now defunct company Avalon Hill, which started me down the wargaming route and of course are the last in the line of Soviet Heavies.....and of course it's technically Cold War, not WW2, albeit it is clearly from the IS3 stable.

I was following one on a Facebook Auction site but missed it, as I had to pop out. It went for only £32 delivered…..the cheapest delivered new I can find is £65….so half price.....gutted was I.

Then another one popped up a few days later on Fleabay for a very good price. I had a closer look and saw the list of AM parts it came with it....and thought it would be rude not to.

By my reckoning the kit and AM parts would have cost around £150 brand new combined......by contrast I only paid £47 for the lot....and that would still have been a very good price for the kit on its own. So if I decide not use all the AM parts, I could make a lot of back selling it second hand!

Well the chit chat is out of hand again. Reel it in please. If you have a relevant comment about somebody's purchase fine. If you just want to make a wisecrack, send them a PM.
Happy new year everyone.
A new year, a new thread. Please no chit chat. A single comment is acceptable. Once it starts going back and forth then it's going to get deleted. If you want to discuss a post with the OP message them!
Right then. Onward.

This has been whispering to me for a while. The whispers became a call. The call became a BUY ME.
It had to happen one day.

Hi all

So for once an extremely modest arrival.....but at least it gives me a chance to check the photo upload process works for photo hosting sites!
