Some photos in the Barbarossa I've not seen before. The 1812 book will make bedtime reading .

Aircraft are cos i wantto do something different from military vehicles and cars/bikes

The floaty boaty thing cos i fancy something REALLY different lol......actually i could use Devonshire for the missile gb cos it has Sea Slug on the back

I would love too but I have most their 1/72 kits already!! :sad-face:

In visiting HMS Belfast I decided to join the Imperial War Museum. In addition to the 'main' museum it covers the Belfast, Duxford and the Churchill War Rooms - and so given that I can get to Central London and Duxford in a little over an hour, and I was going to the Belfast anyway, and I only need to visit three of them to more than get my money back it seemed to be the obvious thing to do and so this is the welcome pack.

These are from a small model shop that visits a lot of the shows I go to in the local area. As well as kits they do a very nice side line in bespoke Kabuki tape markings both general and for individual planes and so given I have so many late war planes, I picked these up

I swear my finger did the clicking. This just came in the post. Couldn't resist the price including delivery charges came up to less than 20 quid from a LHS up north.

It's huge, comes with two parts of destruction sheets, interior, masking sheet for clear parts, flaps work and very fine engraved detail. Now it's left to see if the fit is good. But it's one ugly bird that's still good looking in it's own way.
Don't know when I'll get the time to build it. Swore not to get any more stuff and it took just one click and four days to break it.

Cheers,
Wabble

Hi guys!

Since giving up modelling and selling all my models and equipment, I had one regret only.. and that was, I bought a Meng DR9 Bulldozer and totally
fell in love with it, but I didn't start on it at the time as someone told me to hold off on it. so I did and it was sold with the rest of my stuff.

but.. (yes there is a point to this) I've finally found a way to 'scratch that itch'. I just bought a lego-clone Bulldozer, it's huge and has
2826 pieces and three thick manuals. I just wanted to show it to someone before I get started. (got it in sale too!)

(note to mods: I guess this might be off topic as its not sprues, so I'll understand if you have to delete this)

If you have to build it, then it is still a model...

I've decided on traditional colours for my Land Rover build, Limestone over Pastel Green:

I've got enough to paint a fleet :tears-of-joy:but at least I know the colours are correct and it works out so much cheaper per ml than "model paint"
