First up masks for the recent wingy purchases! The washers are for my next run of in-flight magnetically attached planes.
Now this next one is a real departure. I first came across the T-10 in the early 80s, in a late 1970s board wargame called Arab Israeli Wars by the now defunct company Avalon Hill, which started me down the wargaming route and of course are the last in the line of Soviet Heavies.....and of course it's technically Cold War, not WW2, albeit it is clearly from the IS3 stable.
I was following one on a Facebook Auction site but missed it, as I had to pop out. It went for only £32 delivered…..the cheapest delivered new I can find is £65….so half price.....gutted was I.
Then another one popped up a few days later on Fleabay for a very good price. I had a closer look and saw the list of AM parts it came with it....and thought it would be rude not to.
By my reckoning the kit and AM parts would have cost around
£150 brand new combined......by contrast I only paid
£47 for the lot....and that would still have been a very good price for the kit on its own. So if I decide not use all the AM parts, I could make a lot of back selling it second hand!
