Well, I haven’t done much recently, but I’m plodding through some little blokes on Neddies.
Neds are done and based, just need the riders now…
Riders are primed and will be painted next….

Cheers Steve. Used a new idea (to me) on some of the saddle cloths. Usually, like most people, I undercoat the area in white and then use a few coats of yellow to get decent coverage. The lighter four were painted this way. However, the others were painted using a pink undercoat highlighted with a flesh colour. The yellow covered well in two coats and gave a much more saturated shade to the saddlecloth, and also gave decent highlights as well. It’s what I will be using in future…
Good thinking, you can definitely see the difference with the deeper yellow saddles.

Very kind Scottie. Personally I don’t think the horses are such good sculpts as the riders, but the tack was easy to paint.
Hmm for me? My desk is covered in bits of wood, Sawdust wood glue and Araldite!
Love that truck, leave the bed open to view is my vote! Love the Thud too and those riders are cracking Tim!

Hi Arnie. Thanks for the compliment. They are Victrix 28mm Norman cavalry. Victrix make some of the best plastics out there in my opinion.

I'm working on a little Zil-131 with trailer from ICM. The truck is showing it's age with plenty of flash but the newer mould trailer was pretty crisp.
