Did a bit this morning, painted the inner gun port bulkheads not that you can tell from the pic :) also did a shed loads of tidying (filing gun ports square), filling and sanding, I'll keep you up to date as I go.

Gun port linings done both sides done, having a read through the destructions and from what I can gather mast holes to be opened up to align the masts correctly then 3 whales either side next. :)

003.jpg 005.jpg 002.jpg The whales are proving tricky with getting the cut outs just so.

A bit more progress although it's slow going and fiddley.

Looking at the paint the Victory is no longer yellow ochre more of a pink salmon colour, actually the colour given to me by the powers that be is Tamiya flat flesh just wondering what you guys think ?? new colour? old colour?

John, Paul I tend to agree thanks for your input :)

Fantastic job getting this far in the build Brian. I have a Constitution in plastic and even that has stalled for the moment so I always admire those who attempt building ships in wood.
We have always seen her in yellow trimming and have accustomed to it but what was her real colours during Trafalgar?

Cheer,
Wabble

Her colours during Trafalgar according to the latest info was the flesh/pink, interestingly Nelson hated the colour apparently.
