Second try, I got signed out as I was nearly done and my draft was not saved... 😠

Fujimi's kit was a pleasant build. It lacks some detail and the interior finesse of more recent offerings, but it's still a lovely model to build.

I finished this as Ju87R-2, No.11 from 209a Squadriglia of the Regia Aeronautica, based in Sicily in 1941 during the air assault on Malta. I used Mr Color lacquers, Mr Hobby varnishes and decal solutions, and Tamiya panel liners.

Fantastic Joe. Some seriously nice paintwork involved on this one particularly around the front end and intake for the cooler. Great result.

That's a great result mate.
Cheers Paul

Stunning work Joe, lovely model of a terrifying bird, well done. Cheers
Thank you Steven. It looks evil just sitting there

Cheers Steve. The front was fiddly, so thank you for that. It was made more difficult because the exhaust stubs are moulded on. For my next Fujimi Stuka I will avoid a scheme with a nose band

Lovely job. A beautiful example of an iconic aircraft which we rarely see modelled . Well done.
Cheers Jim, I'm glad you like it. I have more Stukas to build in the future.

Awesome

And nice to see an alternative to luftwaffe
Cheers Paul. Some of the Italian Stukas had quite interesting markings

Thank you everyone for your comments etc. I have one more Fujimi Stuka kit, and I have a tropical filter in the spares box, so I'm considering a desert theme for next time

Just catching up here as well Joe, Really nice build and finish. Stuka builds are rarely seen and glad to see one built.

Cheers,
Wabble
