Osgood is finished. I tried to apply a moustache, but my figure painting skill made him look like he'd slapped a Marmite sandwich against his face, so stuck with a plain look.
The cockpit tub is complete. All OOB. Once everything is dry and the final pieces applied, I will pop the pilot into his seat. Good thing I dry fitted the pilot before the seat went in, because I had initially missed Airfix's instruction to remove the rudder pedals if using the figure. Should get the fuselage zipped up soon.

Thanks Andrew. Haven't been able to do any modelling lately, but the Spitfire will progress quickly once I get back.
Update time having spent time at my bench today.
This is where I left it last time. I had pre-painted the area where the radiator fits, so I can mask off the radiator grills which are painted and pin washed. I've also masked the silver landing gear leg joins.
Wing root problems on both sides, it was a mission to get the two wings to meet at the same dihedral. After this I also discovered that Airfix had once again not made a step obvious for fitting the closed canopy. I needed to remove parts of the side wall to sit flush with the cockpit door. This resulted in some light damage to the fuselage sides which I had to spend time on rectifying.

I to have been having a bit of fun with wing roots. I wonder if it's the way many manufacturers connect their wings to the fuselage, as in, the same way?
