My next build comes with chromed parts that need to be painted white.
From my research I found that these could not be overpainted even with primer.
Looking online it seemed Bleach was the most popular removal method, oven cleaner was also mentioned.
I tried both on chromed sprue from the new kit and the results were very similar.
Oven Brite liquid is my preferred method, fume free and less stinky too
Both removed the chrome completely in about 15 minutes leaving a clean plastic finish
Any other suggestions that you find work well?
