an front veiw of that main undercart an here now the undercart doors are fitted an boy i was near a nervous wreck by the time i did these as they were pretty fragile as i got the shakes the harder i treid the worst they gotIMG_1834.webp

an here im now about to fit the fusealage to the main wings an there was tiny holes for it to fit but it was a devil to fit as over time the fusealarge had folded inwards so not fit the postining hole in the wings so a bit of a job but got over it by fitting one side down then when glued i streched the fuso out to meet the other holes an carefully glue down an boy was i sweating doin this but sucsees IMG_1836.webp

Great progress chris , shes a big old bird isnt she ? The massive one piece moulding of the wing top is prone to a bit of warping but you look to have sorted it no problem .

an here the fusealarge elertrics that plug into the tail plug to work all the fusealarg lights an undercarrt lights an this is a big model so more wireing to be fitted to take the power to the front undercart an cockpit an strobe flashing lights

HI Tony yes she is but im enjoyin this build far better than the hornet yes i near had a heart attak when tryin to pull out the fusealarge as there was a bit of a crackin sound but ive looked inside down the fusealarge an it all looks ok to me an soon ive got to fit them big wings togeather an hope they line up ok as its ok dryfitting them isnt it but when glueing if im a bit out on them wings then im in trouble an TONY DID YOUR WING GO OK WHEN YOU BUILT YOURS ?

Great work Chris, progressing very nicely. The landing gear looks intricate, well done. I see they even had you paint the red snubbers for the tyres, a nice little bit of detail.
 
Wait, that's NOT a WASP interceptor?

Some people say old kits aren't worth the trouble. But adding all the bells, whistles and LIGHTS (wow!) is what modelling is all about!

That undercarriage looks superb

Its a long time ago chris but I think I might have glued one side at a time
