Good news indeed! Been there, done that, 3 tablets a day for the foreseeable future, can't get travel insurance... but could be a lot worse.

Thanks Stuart, it is buddy, I saw the look on the wife's face when she read the letter, and that was enough for me ;)

Thanks Pete :) true buddy, there are a lot of folk in a far worse position, you can never take thing's for granted, always keep a check on your health;)

As someone who's spent more time in hospital the last 8 years than anyone should have to in a lifetime, or at all, I'm happy every time I hear about someone who doesn't have to - so that's fantastic news!
Women are told to check themselves all the time, and from they're young whereas we men have to find out these things for our self, and often when it's too late for a friend or ourselves...

Imagine if Frank Zappa had known about this earlier and done regular checks, then he wouldn't have died at the young age of 52 :(
He died of prostate cancer.
Bob Marley stubbed his big toe playing football and didn't see a doctor when it got infected. That killed him.

If you feel something is wrong, have it looked at! There's no medal for ignoring pain and broken bits. I learned that the hard way... It doesn't pay to be stubborn!

Thanks Jens, men seem to ignore symptoms, or tail tell signs, and leave it until sadly in some cases, it's far too late for some.

My message is plain and clear, if you suspect, or feel that something isn't right, then get it looked at, best to be safe....than sorry.

Glad to hear your ok. I know exactly what you've been going through as I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2011. Luckily it was in its early stages . I had Brackytherapy and have been clear ever since.

that is great news Tommy i have just returned to work after 6months and my psa is down to 0.65 , on the injections for 3 years but moving forward , if it had not been for my modeling i think i would have been round the bend .
