Excellent reporting there John. Some intimidatingly good work on show. Good to see a few familiar pieces - well done to Scottie (deserved gold though).

P.S Everyone is a youngster compared to you mate. So are we talking 50+ or sub 50??:smiling3::smiling5:![]()
Thanks Noel, I will look into it. Just out of interest how many of you on here that are not affiliated to any clubs that would like the opportunity to show your builds to the wider public?Pau!, I read your post asking about individuals booking tables. Normally it is up to the individual show organiser involved. IPMS as an organisation does not get involved with any of this at local show level, although it may be one of their local branches organising the show. Try contacting any local show organisers direct with your proposals would be my advice.
I would Paul, I'd would set up and then make out they weren't mine :upside::smiling3:Thanks Noel, I will look into it. Just out of interest how many of you on here that are not affiliated to any clubs that would like the opportunity to show your builds to the wider public?
Noel, sorry mate a bit far for me these days, but thanks for the offer . Hope the show is a success. If you get chance photos are always welcome .Unfortunately I missed Peterborough but heard since it was a really good show. Any of you guys going to Milton Keynes Modelkraft show at our new venue on 28th April? If any of you live within reasonable distance from MK, try looking in on one of our club nights if you have not been already. We are a friendly bunch who love our hobby but don't take ourselves too seriously!
Congrats on the second place Paul , sounds like a good show , cheers tonyHad a great time at the show it was well supported by clubs and traders. met up with the Firestarter (Mr Race) and Ben (Yambam26) and his lovely girlfriend who is also catching the bug. I have to thank john for his gift of some home grown sea grass.
I was very happy to get a second place for my Dragon Wagon especially given the high quality of the builds across the tables.
One thing we were talking about was the possibility of these shows reserving a couple of tables for people who are not affiliated to a particular club but would like to turn up on the day and show their builds perhaps for a small fee. Perhaps I should contact IPMS and get their thoughts but first what do you guys think?
Unfortunately I didn't get any photos but John took quite a few so hopefully he will post them later.
