Well it's finished, but it is destined for life at the back of the shelf. It's a bit rough, I sort of lost interest and took my eye off the ball with this one. However, it was a useful test bed for some new MRP paints that our own BarryW recommends. They are really good. Wasted on this build, but so easy to use and clean up afterwards. I'll be getting more.

Love it colin , great job on a difficult kit. The paint looks excellent, cheers tony

Dont be too hard on yourself Colin these workhorses are quite scruffy in real life and rarely get cleaned,I think that you have captured the essence of this helicopter,Russian engineering is belt and braces with heavy rivetting sometimes dimpling the metal sheeting.
One visited this country back in the eighties and I saw it flying it looked most impressive in the air.

You got nothin' to worry about if this is one of your poorer efforts Col! I'd be well pleased if my efforts turned out that good.

hanks for having a look chaps.
What would you have achieved if you had caught the ball?!
Hard to say, I think I was just happy to get this one finished which is not the best wat to tackle a build.
great job on a difficult kit
So glad I found the instructions on line. Just for the rotor assembly alone !
I saw it flying it looked most impressive in the air
That would be a sight, with that strange rotor arrangement.
I like the subtle weathering
That's the bit I enjoy most. For me, it's when a model comes alive. Don't get me wrong, clean builds have their place, but I like to see a bit of 'age'.

Hi Colin
Well I rather like it. Looks fine to me. A most unusual helicopter. Money well spent I'd say.
