Latest Acquisitions (2020)

Stole these off of "Evil Bay". They haven't been available for years as I discovered the bottom of the models were marked W. Berlin. I thought I was getting the SS100 tractors and turns out they are the ST100 version. I'm good with that! Happy Day. Rick H.P1011110.JPGP1011111.JPG

F82s were reintroduced in 1948 as jets of the time hadn't the legs to escort bombers into Russia. In theory, they could fly from England to Moscow & loiter for 30 minutes & return. 12 hour flights were possible. They were based w/Strategic Air Command. PaulE

PaulE WHATS THIS F82s ? as ive never heard of these a pic please ?
chris

Pic is on page 20 0f this thread. Some were also based as home defense replacing P61s. Some also so action in South Korea during police action. PaulE

I would have liked the original editions rather than these reprints, which you can tell have been scanned from an earlier edition, but these are still very good books if you’ve got an interest in American armoured vehicles.

Excellent kit Peter. I used to have a Tamiya 1/48 Lanc many moons ago. They have a few accuracy issues such as the canopy but they are all easy to modify. Look forward to you building this.

After hearing so many good things about this paint I figured I ought to give some of them a go. For those that already have them, I guess they'd benefit from a shaker ball?

They don't take too much shaking to get them mixed properly without.

Thanks Colin & Jack. I have plenty of stainless BB's so added one to each just to be sure.

Some of you may be aware of my tireless pursuit of desired models at the right price!

I wonder where I've seen that before? So you wanna be a Yakuza too Jim??? Start with the pinky first!!!!

Dave,

If the Revell kit comes with the funky rubber tires, Macone make a really nice set of Dunlop resin tires, MAC35607, for the Fordson W.O.T. 6 and they sell for about €10 for the set of 4...
