discussion Matchbox kit build

As there seems to be a lack of group builds for the last half of the year.
Would anyone be interested in a matchox kit build.
Any scale or type including any of the revel reboxings from the end of April to the end of the year.

It's so tempting I have to refrain and concentrate with current builds although I have a 1/72 Bofors and Morris, Siskin, Lancaster and Halifax plus a 1/700 Duke of York in the stash.

Could do … I have a bunch of old Matchbox kits and Revell re-issues. Should make another nice, quick diversion from the heavy lifting of building Sherman Crabs as well as that I intend to do for a group build on another forum soon

Edited to add: actually I've still got the Leyland Retriever from the Monty's Caravan set, and I'm sure I saw a Panther last time I was up in the attic. God knows if it's a complete kit though.

Revell took a lot of the old matchbox moulds and reboxed them it's worth taking a look at scalemates

I have a Revell 1/48 Skyraider AD-5, which I think was originally a Matchbox kit, back in about 1980!
Should be fun, so I'm in.

According to Scalemates, it’s indeed a Matchbox rebox. Unlike this one:

… which is a Monogram kit. Handy, not confusing at all
