Great little 'Snap Together' kit. Excellent fit.

Painted the base colour green with Vallejo Model Air using a small flat headed brush and then a safety pin to apply the camo. Hard to do, but I'm satisfied with the outcome.

I imagined a poor Russian 'erk' being given a tin of water based white paint and a 4" paint brush and being told to "Go out in the cold and paint that aircraft!"

He would no doubt have completed his task in double quick time and return to the warmth of his stove. No chance of a careful application, even less chance of a second coating!

Here is his effort. He was sent to a Penal Battalion the very next day.....

...a bit of fun with some painted snowy ground.

I don't know how your eyes cope at your age Ron. that looks a little beauty. Now it's time for a lie down in a dark room to rest those eyes.

Thanks a bundle Ian. I'm not done for quite yet... Glad you like the diddy aircraft.

I tried a magnifying gizmo once, and ended up painting the inside of my nose!

I'm very lucky. I'm still able to paint small stuff just wearing reading glasses.... and of course, a glass of summat to steady the old German Bands.

Superbski Comrade , the poor artist still got sent to the gulag for losing a state owned aircraft - they parked it up and then couldnt find it again in the morning !!! Looking forward to your next tiddler

Thank you Comrade.
I'm firmly hooked on these tiddlers. Great fun for little money!

Tim, Great link. Good job I don't mask my models. Imagine masking one of those cockpit frames!

Sorry you don't like it, sir.

Hi Ron
It's good is that. Won't take up much shelf space and having finished it you can give Sherlock H his magnifier back.

Always nice to read your comments on my stuff.

Can't give S.H. his stuff back just yet, I'm building another diddy 1/135 U. Boat.

Very true Tim. I need him when we both go culling deer in the Scottish Highlands.
