Found this video yesterday on U Tube .
I don't know what scale his trains are but think the rust technique is brill. Defiantly something I will look to do .

Very effective and quite simple. I am surprised that the black wash didn't destroy the texture from the pastels.

Yes looks ok, he's a great guy plenty of hints for things, of course they are mainly for trains but this just looked good. What I liked was the texture that it gave, perfect for our burnt out tanks Jim. :smiling:

Thanks for sharing. Very simple and yet remarkably effective.

Best of all I already have the pigment set. Plasmo recommended on his youtube channel for home made pigments.

Hi JR, Really informative.......have used sponges in the past for small camo patterns..........you can easily over do it if not careful. a bit of practice on a non model object would be useful to try for different effects. Thanks again for sharing this. Rick H. :thumb2:
