Well, you can actually see a difference from the other MiniArt T34/85s!

Seen everywhere, skid steerers are a common sight, but I think this is the first in injection moulded 1/35 . These are made by CASE, 1900 ordered for the US Army..................

The skid steer looks interesting. I remember watching one of these with a fork lift attachment loading up the contaminated police vehicles onto flatbeds during the Novichok incident in Salisbury. Not often an international incident happens at the end of your street.....

Gecko bringing out some really interesting kits at the moment

On the ICM website - continuing their Chernobyl series - " Extraction " - 'in process'

Could be people going on holiday - nothing at the moment to pin it down to Chernobyl evacuation!

I was just thinking much the same: they look like useful figures for all kinds of 20th century to modern dioramas. Only the dress with the apron on the little girl seems old-fashioned enough it would need a bit of work to be used for about any time between the 1930s and the present day. Well, and the two figures on the left are more ca. 1970s to present. Still, very useful figures, if you ask me.

I think it's a real shame that IBG make their WW 1 gun in 1/35 scale. This type of model is just crying out for 1/24 or even bigger.

I've just had an email from Jadlam Toys & Models, title - " NEW Airfix Bentley Now Available! "
I thought I'd missed something - but no, it's the 1971 1/12 tooling in it's 6th ( or 7th ) Airfix reboxing.
Must be close to breaching the Trade Description Act to call it "New"

That looks a little odd to me - huge tank & a tiny little seat - not a very attractive bike!
Dave

Now that’s pug ugly isn’t it.....can’t see it being too comfortable on a long hike, yet the tank looks like it was designed for just that?

I’d never heard of it, but just a little bit of reading up on it makes me think it’s an odd choice for a model kit — unless it’s aimed at converters?

The BMW R nineT is a standard motorcycle introduced by BMW Motorrad in 2014. It is a retro styled roadster viewed by many custom builders as a "blank canvas for customizing".
(…)
The BMW R nineT has several design elements configured to allow the bike to be easily modified, such as separate engine and chassis wiring harnesses and minimal bolts attaching the rear subframe, tail lights, and headlight.

On the Zvezda Facebook page - sprue test shots for their upcoming 1/144 Shchuka Class submarine

Dave

No Problem
I prefer waterline models of submarines, but it seems a shame to throw away all those bits & hack the hull down to a thin sliver...........................
