Finally done. 220V 50A into the consumer unit. I am a broken man.

Indeed Andy, 2.5mm2 singles to make two ring mains, one for each side, 4 dou let sockets on each.

Glad I went for the house consumer unit as you soon use up the breakers!

So fitted second work bench on the left today and that's basically it. Got to go the the unit and get my bench grinder to fit but pretty happy with how it's come out all in all.

Thanks for all the positivity. Currently there is a tray of train bodies and a tray of motor bike parts taking up time in there but still awaiting a few parts before I can get the bike bits out and cleared away back on a bike.

I do love having some nice work benches though. Taken 5 years to actually manage it but finally there now.

So when I did the shed I didn't insulate the roof. One of those things I should have but it costs that much anyway that the budget didn't allow at the time. Now I have had the chance finally.
Annoying as I have to remove a fair bit of stuff but looking at the frost this morning on the roof and the shed being nice and warm inside with the heater on it seems to have done its job.

Used a reflective type bubble wrap which is sold to go behind radiators and then 50mm polystyrene with a 20mm air gap between the two. There are better things bit at the end of a day it's a shed and the cost of insulation board etc is vast.

Also since I did it I have rerouted the air brush booth to a more convenient location.

Building some more shelves this afternoon hopefully so I have space for the rest of my stash.

Also.on there I took an image with the FLIR thermal imaging camera on my phone to shown what even the reflective sheeting alone does. It's about 6-8C difference.

I have an air con unit in there as well so it serves to keep it cool I hope
