Scale Model Shop

Hello

Wow, stash and a half! You do know that as fast as you can build you’ll still buy replacements twice as fast don’t you :tongue-out3:

Dale

Welcome aboard. Any questions just ask away...... The members on here have been unfailingly helpful since I've arrived.

Howdy Dale, make yourself at home and dig into that stash and start a build thread. Looking forward to seeing how you progress in the hobby. Rick H.

Faster ... well, that's my experience at least! And, of course, welcome Dale! That stash looks like a deposit on a man-cave!

Finally started to build a kit! Inspired by browsing the forum, and seeing all the awesome work here, I bought some extra thin, and got stuck in. The build thread is here. It's a basic OOB build of a 1/35 Dingo MkII by Tamiya.

Love them! Typical British engineering, good luck mate!

I got side tracked by your stash Dale, welcome aboard.

Stash update!
Righto, got into the cupboard to look in more boxes. I've catalogued another two small and one large box. Bear in mind these were up in my parent's loft for many years, so many are not in great condition. I haven't been able to check if they're all complete, but I believe most are, unless otherwise noted.
I've also found there are five large boxes, not four as I thought previously. It appears I have more than I thought!

And just to give you all an idea, here's box #1 partially unpacked! I could build for a lifetime, and still not be finished, so I'll probably let some of these go at some point:

The last box (there were just four. The bottom one is an old Arcam amp box, empty), holds some planes and stuff. I haven't catalogued those. They hold little interest for me, other than the 1/32 Messerschmidt I'll build one day...

Last but not least, I've heard that some of the old Frog models are collectable, and could be valuable? Anyone got any idea about this lot?:
