Nice idea. Might get updates to the IKEA chair I use when working from home.
I looked at the chairs in ikea, good prices but for me not much back support. Been using for a week and no isuess so for me a good investment
Thanks for that Bob... I shall be investing in one myself dreckly, wanted a comfy chair,("No,No,not the comfy chair " ;) ) for quite a while now!!
We're both very well thank you Sir,I trust your good lady ,and yourself are too :smiling3:
Ah monty python lol!!!

Good to hear Andy, both creaking but ok ta

Yep, the names make me smile. Interested in how you get on with Agarax earth shade though….it seems to be a lot of painters “go to” for shading washes….

Really Tim?.... I wasn`t aware of that,it`s all new stuff to me,so i`ll be interested to check that out:thumb2:,
TBH i`m only doing these things as an interlude from my normal military stuff, but as i`ve ALWAYS been keen on all things fantasy from 2001AD Comics,(Particularly "Strontium Dog"),to Lord Of the Rings,(I`m a massive fan of Terry Pratchett`s "Disc World" and have a collection of about 50 of the Hard Backed books:hungry: ),i thought i`d give them a crack. As they`re not for gaming with or need to be "Precise",i decided to do each of the 3 riders i have in different livery..... hence the new paints there;).
Good job i`m not on an actual Warhammer site....... I`d probably get lynched for that!!:tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:

If you're into Strontium Dog, have you seen these?

As to Prachett, he lived about ten miles from Salisbury, where I lived for most of my life, and about eight miles from me is this place….

Wincanton doesn’t look much like Anhk Morpork though….despite the picture they have on the web site….i’ve never actually been in the shop because it closed throughout both lockdowns and the phoney war in between…..

One of my colleagues at work is done sort of authority on Prachett, even to the point of dealing with the family a lot and if course having all kinds of books and memorabilia.

All the way from China:

Wooden veneer deck for Revell 1/350 Emden/Dresden

I had almost given this up - it's taken a couple of months to reach here

The box has LKE at the bottom left, but that's it! No other makers name on the box, instructions, decal sheet or sprues - This has been sold under the HYPA & Lee labels, and I suspect it's a repop of an older model ( Dragon? ). The parts don't look bad - at <£10 delivered - I'm not disappointed!

Interesting stuff there Tim,
Thanks for that,I hadn't seen any Strontium gear for absolutely years! :)
The closest I've been to visiting Wincanton is to the rather large haulage firm's ,(Wincanton Transport)depot not far from me ;)

It's amazing just how popular the "Discworld" stuff is Andrew :)

This came on Saturday......half price delivered off of "sleaze" bay. The Red Cross bus is not the same type but it is the inspiration for this build when I get around to doing it. Rick H.P1011922.JPG

Bound issues of the periodical of the “Dutch Society of Military Vehicles” from 1980 through 1991 (four issues per year), plus four specials. On another forum, someone had come across a leaflet of theirs in a second-hand kit he bought, did some digging and didn’t find more online about them than this (exactly this) set of bound periodicals for sale at a second-hand book store, which I then decided to purchase (since he didn’t seem to want them).

I hadn’t really ever heard of DSMV before, and I’ve not read much in them, but the overall impression is very 1980s :) It covers both real vehicles, documentation and models, from kit reviews to conversion articles. Going by the last issue in the set, it looks like the club was imploding at the time, so chances are this is a complete set of everything they released.

Result of the Amazon Meng sale. One ebay purchase is on the way...then I'm done with kit buying...far too many 'irresistible bargains' stacking up!
