I`ll try this as an introductory pic......

My progress so far,,,,,,

Doesn`t look a great deal,admittedly,however,quite a bit of clean up was required,but despite the kit`s age.....not a shocking chore!!
The research i`ve done for the stuff i can`t remember,(Well i WAS very young!!),has been very interesting.... sometimes i find that learning side of things just as good as actually building the model!!:dizzy:
I shall be adding some scratch stuff, but one thing i can`t do are the wheels/tyres..... they are particularly awful.... any ideas where to get replacements?!
Cheers Guys,
Andy

Good Evening Mr. Smiff,

Ya gotta love a trip down memory lane Andy. Can't help with the tires, but what is exactly wrong with them. I'm in for this as flashbacks are always good!!!

This morning I tried to resuscitate my '80s HiFi with debatable results: turntable with new head: good; amplifier: left channel only working and more investigation needed. Maybe it's just some old cable...:face-with-head-bandage:
In the meantime... some more glue, paint and primer (tested a new one, rattle can and yes...red!) Stinky  but smooth and easy to apply.IMG_7080.JPGIMG_7083.JPGIMG_7088.JPG
Hull and turret just dry fitted. The the commander's optic is already masked with masking fluid. All the turret will be green, tools and accessories included, but the intent is to try some light chipping on the metal parts.
Tracks are vinyl (with a working turntable, what else?! :smiling6:) They don't look too bad and after the mess I made with the BV 206 tracks, I'm going to refresh my skills on that material with this kit.

Bradley M2:
Because some decals cannot be put on 3d details, they must be sprayed. Afther preparations (drawing exact positions on vehicle), i cutted them off on cnc mill/laser engraver.

SNOW. I can't believe it's snowing out now. Big glopy flakes.

I haven't covered the rocking chairs yet!

Not to worry Paul, you can cover them tomorrow........from the looks of this, it will prolly be all gone by morning, if the temp don't drop. Enjoy! Rick H.

Looks good Andrea, and looks like you have moved in at last ?

Thanks Dzohn, you can see my late mums recently opened just in time for the snow.

Always looks good, as long as you don’t need to go anywhere in it Paul ;)

I forgot about you "City" boys.....I never let the weather keep me from doing what I need to...........of course I might have to plow the driveway first but that's a small delay LOL:smiling: Rick H.

City boys….how dare you sir! I look out the back, I see fields….I look out the front….I see fields….I look out the left I see a farm, and if I look out the right I see a small row of cottages…..baint no townie me!
Trouble is Rick, in the U.K. we don’t get snow often enough for the average punter to get used to driving in it. No issues if your first out, driving on fresh snow is pretty simple. However, once the wheel spinners get on it you need to be able to drive on ice. We are also not allowed to use snow chains in most areas :worried:
