Ron, just thin darker lines on the 'shady' sides of the windows and doors would probably work, but would need to have the photos done with the light coming from the 'right' direction :thumb2:Just arrived back home from a few days camping, so sorry for the late response, boys.
Thanks for all the positive posts. Much appreciated.
Paul and Gerry. When you did your watercolour paintings, I'm sure you will have come across the same problem I had with this effort of mine.- Depth.
I tried to get a balance between the model buildings in the foreground and the painted background. As I wanted them quite a bit back, I reasoned that too much detail to the painted buildings would bring them too close. I might have a second bash. I'll see......
Thanks again to all those who posted.
Cheers,
Ron
Good lord this is mind blowing. How long would something like this take to complete?Wow, thanks everyone. Great comments for sure!
Reading them all sure beats a cup of cocoa at this time of night. :thumb2:
Good thinking Chris.
Paul. Thanks for pointing out the omission. The problem is, I have no knowledge of such things. I just build what's in the box.:upside:
Right, you long suffering people. you can blame Gerry, Jim and Dave for this final batch of pictures.
The only picture I took with the sketch background. It just didn't look right somehow. Not to worry, I had a go....
Thanks for your patience folks.
Cheers,
Ron
In 570's case not long Steven as he's completely mad and very good at these dioramas as you will soon see.:smiling3:Good lord this is mind blowing. How long would something like this take to complete?
