Like it loads.
...and refreshingly different.

570
That's exactly what Christine thinks 570 , " refreshingly different."
With the parts that haven't been used I'm going make up a small base so they can be displayed.

John, enjoying watching this build as my daughter is also building a greenhouse kit. The 1/12 scale Malcolm's Miniatures kit is the one she is building.
We have just been admiring yours and has been previously said, something a little different.

Tony

John this absolutely looks like a fun and amazing build and you are doing a superb job… Love all of the color in this greenhouse keep up the good work

Tony thanks, I've looked at the model your daughter is building, that is a lovely kit.
This one I'm doing does offer such a vast choice in plants and containers , but the use of the one piece plastic really let's it down . Hence the idea of having the plexiglass roof .

Fascinating build this John, and you are really doing it justice.
Thanks Tim .

Hi Joe, thank you , as I've said it's so different from the normal , and it's going to be allowed in the house when finished ! :smiling3:

Absolutely beautiful.
Cheers Paul.:thumb2:

Later this morning I'll post an update of the top basswood and balsa surround .
Then will take some measurements for the roof followed by ordering the plexiglass.

Now going to make two end pieces copies of the center frame and glue the plastic sheet to them , then send off for two sheets of Plexiglas.

Thanks for looking in .

Percy, don't forget your coat hook on the back of the door!
Pete
Now that's a thought, thanks Peter.

That it is rather nice there John. Something very different indeed!
It is Andrew, Christine is very much in favour of this sort of build, she's not into such things as war and Russian armour .Think what's she's missing :hungry:

No I can't Andrew, the 4B0 green around the top has not received any negative comment. Remember that is a perfect match for the Shades Garden green which we use in the garden .
There paint blender must have good taste:smiling3::nerd:

Hi John
Looking great. Plants outside look excellent. Not just a coat hook but all sorts of odds and ends seem to find their way into a green house. My father in law always had a mug of tea, a little radio and a newspaper, and an old chair to relax on.
Jim

That really is looking good John. At a quick glance I thought the first picture was real…..yep, some other paraphernalia such as a small radio with Test match special on would finish it a treat….

Good Idea Jim, I've just glued up new end timbers , while they are drying I'll make a little radio.:smiling2:.

Thanks Tim. Having a cup of tea then I'll crack on with the radio, and the coat hook .
Great idea thanks you two ,

The radio build was fun, half painted , so will post to tomorrow, along with the 2 extra wooden end pieces. Any hints please on how to shrink down the paper headlines to model size .I had a go once before with some programme and it was great, but can't remember where it is ?
