Nevermind the book......
I LOVE that plane :smiling3:
Ju188 A1 'Racher'. I wish i'd had the chance to get the AIMS conversion to make one. Alas Pastor John has given up most of his creations (for now).
Nevermind the book......
I LOVE that plane :smiling3:
Errrrrrrrrmmmm I don't think I would want the job of masking the canopy on that little aviation "nightmare" :tongue-out3:Nevermind the book......
I LOVE that plane :smiling3:
Do you know what..... And this will probably get me shot..... But they do nothing for me.....Nevermind the book......
I LOVE that plane :smiling3:
Tim before today I would have said no idea, but I cut back the building front on the diorama with some 400 git wet and dry, both wet and dry. Seemed to be ok as long as I didn't press too hard. How does it sand though John. To date I’ve found acrylics just tear if you need to do remedial work. Not an issue on my little blokes, but an essential quality if you work on things like aircraft or civilian cars…..
Wow fantastic Andy , Cohan's new vertical high rise ? Love to Rach from us both .I`ve been after a better display case for a while now, narrowly missed out on a couple the last 6 months or so.
However,my luck changed on Wednesday when my solitary bid of TEN QUID actually won one!! Even better...... it was "Collection only"..... Buckfastleigh...... which is just 10 miles down the A38!!:thumb2:
Just picked it up,it needs a bit of a clean but Hey,i can cope with that!!.........
Ere tis.......
...... YEP..... just TEN quid:dizzy:Feeling rather pleased with myself!!
Andy,(That`s not where it`s going BTW,the pic was taken in situ at the sellers)

I know what you mean there Smitty, In my stash He 111, Ju 88, Arado 234b etc. etc. And no pre made masks in 1-87 so they languish.Yeah, you're spot on there Rick..
Problem is with me,I tend to think,"Hmmm, that could be tricky, but I'll overcome it.......
Then get it anyway and suddenly think.......,"Oh s***,how am I gonna do that?"......
.... Not stopped me adding to the stash yet mind!! :smiling3:

Somehow after walking past Mr.Models stand at the Cosford AIrshow my 18yr old son had talked me into buying this; building it, painting it and then 'gifting' to him when finished. only £24.99 so not that expensive and it looks a good kit and build ( have checked youtube). Havent built any plastic for a couple of years so should be fun !

Interesting.... Might have uses for me as 1/72 is my usual scale!!Hi all
here are my latest acquisition - pins but not just any pins:
these are pins from Watkins & Doncaster which are designed for pinning insects. They are strong and very thin, thicknesses of : 0.42mm, 0.32mm and 0.25mm.
a little while ago I bought some 1/72 scale figures and these will be used to pin the figures to the diorama base, and to pin together parts if I convert any of the figures.
Peter
if you pm me I'll send you a dozen or so - they come in packs of 100 each so I have one or two spare!Interesting.... Might have uses for me as 1/72 is my usual scale!!
