Ammo boxes are the DB's mate. All coming together well my friend
Thanks Steve , the rest slowly. Next big thing is the choice of figures. Got to go through all the kit boxes with the odd figure in and then the plastic tubs to see what will do . I can see much surgery again !

Thanks Tim, hope your feeling much better .
Much better thanks John. Be a while before I build my stamina back up and can walk around much though. Still pretty much confined to barracks at the moment. Getting a bit stir crazy to be honest.

well you've certainly got that side of things down now.
I must say, to my uneducated eyes it's really beginning to look like a tank now ;)

Some very small pieces of plastic and equally as small PE went in the bin, too small for me to deal with .Should have been some straps to hold down the spare track links , some ones having a joke !!!!:smiling3::smiling3::smiling3::smiling3:
Hopefully more primer in the tracks , will brush paint now .

Thanks for looking in .

John .

Looking good John, just love the clutter in the background as it makes me feel at home. :smiling5:

Andy.

Coming on very nicely John. Ammo boxes look great. Good to see some paint.

Certainly a beast they weren't good looking but as my old mum would have said there's something handsome about it ,are you still using the the next gen AK dont seem to be able to say wether I like them or not you seem to have got your head around them first time out. Anyway alls looking like you know exactly where your going with it so looking forward to the next update. Dave

Its not bad paint Dave , just the mix needs to be spot on it seems ,too much thinners and it gives no coverage and tends to run, too think and the ab refuses to spray.

Another good day, paint a bit, have a cup of tea, do and bit more. Spent most of the morning doing this.Have just used another brown primer so a few photos have are a little gloss.

Had to extend the crane section, so it reached over the SU. Tracks have now had AK 3RG GEN primer on followed by some Vallejo brown primer .More to follow.2022_4.jpg

Starting to build up the layers of paint, then loads of grime

Same as the engine.

Still lots of little areas to do but thoroughly enjoyable. The tracks and road wheels have been started as well .
I've found a load of figures , mostly German!!!! but they will be altered to suit.

Thanks for looking and commenting.

John.

That's coming on very nicely indeed John. And love the work you've done on the engine!!! Just a shame about the green colour!! ;)

In all seriousness great work and I hear you on some of the stupidly small parts we're supposed to deal with!

ATB.
