After sorting out a painting room, today it's the model making rooms time. Bought a new table, much longer and a bit wider.

Before, very busy

After, to me much better

No doubt will move things again and will buy another storage unit and paint rack.

I'm impressed Bob.
What is that thing below the lamp in the last photo? Looks like a wooden block with sticks in it.

It's a "Helping hands" type thing, but a plastic pre drilled base and comes with about a dozen extended padded croc clips Jim :)
Got a couple myself ...
VERY useful ;)

What Mr smiff said, the lid comes off and you can store the sticks inside. The lids held on with magnets.

I have also bought a large oasis block to use in the painting room, covered the sides in packing tape to keep the fine dust/ particles in.

Great Bob. Having a dedicated space that works for you is a great aid to working efficiently I find!

Cheers Tim, I hope so lol. Got to buy a storage box from John to keep the bottles tidy

Might sound strange Bob, but nail varnish stands can work well…….

No fair!!! You have a room for painting and another one for building!! I have to use the same table for both!!

Seriously looks good though!!!

To be honest, Andrew if I sprayed lacquer or any paint in the house, the crown jewels would be history lol

Morning John

I like the light, good reach and angles, you can alter the light power as well

+1 on the light. I have a slightly older model and find it excellent.

Wow 'Admiral' Bob!!! That is a really nice (and way tooooo tidy) work bench area you have created. I wish I could be so lucky......

+2 on the lamp as I have the same one and it's great!!! BTW, I don't see a drydock anywhere for the floaty's, just a few stands..............

Prost
