Scale Model Shop

boatman's 1/72 HMS Tiger C20 build

Chris , Matron and the whole of the Committee are hiring a charabanc for this for this momentous occasion. I have it on good authority that she has bought a new hat .
She will of course bring her medical bag in case of a medical emergency.

Just catching up with this epic build. The new scratch-built boats look terrific and the ship as a whole looks magnificent. Fabulous stuff mate, I can’t wait to see her in the water. I think you may want to try it when it’s not so cold though, it’s a tad chilly outside. Do you have a 1/72 Icebreaker ship in the stash? ;)

All the best to you and Jen and carry on the incredible work. :thumb2:
Cheers, P

Have you put RC in these as well. :smiling5::smiling6::tears-of-joy:
NOT likely Ian lol but i have seen others have fitted R/C in the tiny ships boats so they get lowered by the ships crane an then sails away an then comes back to be picked up by the crane an lifted up to the deck an then unhook the crane but to do it there would need about another 6 tiny micro servos an a tiny ESC am tiny motor like i have in my helo but to me a lot of work as if out on the pond you would not even see it unless you had binoulars on it lol
cheers Ian for your quote

It was more in fun than serious. However there is a RC club in Germany I think that RC's 1/72 and even 1/86 trucks and tanks !
White Ensign should be the last thing you add.
Cheers.
