Evening everyone,

As you might have read in my Halberstadt post, I had the chance to go to the toy fair today with Anton (Forum member) and my friend Thorsten, the model building crazy, to see what's new in our hobby. It was the first-time private people were allowed to visit the fair and in only one hall. The hall contained model RR, R/C stuff, die-cast and of course plastic models. There were a few big names there, but a lot of big manufacturers were not present. There were also distributors of model products too. I managed to take about 100 pics to share with you and they are in (sort of) order...

I only ask that you please hold all comments till I have finished the 4 posts of pics. I don't want to miss anyone and can answer questions at the end. Thank you for your understanding and we'll start with Tamiya...

Some new products and some older ones two,

Now we will move over to ASK from Czech. Cool people and at a show, they always have some beer on hand, or a schnaps too. None on hand here at the fair though. They do make their own line of wing thingy masks in all scales,

As you can see, the stand was closed off to everyone other than dealers and the like...

At the toy fair, you cannot buy anything from a stand, as It's not allowed. When we came in, Albion Alloys were near the entrance and the first stand I went to. I asked about their tiny brass tubing to use for my Halberstadt build and they were very helpful. The salesman I met at the WME was also there and showed me what was the best tubing to use for turnbuckles, showed me how to cut it and such. When I asked him how much the tube set was, he said......Stick it in your pocket. I can't take your money here. This is what he gave me,

I couldn't believe it!!!...Who's a happy camper now???...

Enjoy the pics as much as I enjoyed posting them for you all and the toy fair today. Andrew and Mick, you are both very welcome too!!!...

Prost
Allen
