It’s a Caterpillar¹ D7 with an Armored Cab M2 (of which 1189 were made) and some or another dozer blade that I’m not up to speed on. These were used by the US Army in large numbers in the Second World War, mainly in Europe.
¹ But MiniArt probably aren’t calling it that because they don’t want that company to claim money from them. Two weeks ago I was talking to Graham Sellars of Resicast, including about the D7 he used to produce, and said that within a few weeks of a review of it appearing in an American modelling magazine, he got a letter from Caterpillar’s lawyers …
