Fine choice when moments get stressful!!
I take your and Dave's word for it Doug, it's Yorkshire here at the Towers .;)Has the same effect .

Looking good matey.
Cheers Paul .

Looking great John, I feel your pain after building a 120 link motorcycle chain, rollers, side plates and all.

Andy.
Andy after that lot I'd feel more than pain !

But think about it....one piece..... For the whole running gear and track..... One piece!
All very good Andrew, the trouble is I'd be pressed to see it :disappointed:

Spent the morning and a good part of the afternoon in the garden , where else would I be !

Sat outside in the late afternoon sun , really enjoyed doing the track, got one side finished and on .

It will remove easily for treatment and paint.
ITS LOOSE , I know, but as the bottom bogies are all over the place I can match the ground work to the track .Looking at Dave's model I can take up any slack for the hang on the top run .

That's the best part about them Rick . How on earth they didn't throw tracks all the time esp when attempting a turn I'll never know.
Having once thrown a track in training which looked about as tensioned as it should have been . The resulting being expected to replace the track before we returned from the training area while every one else cleared off for the night !

No photos as none required but nearly completed the second track . Sitting in the shade in the garden while assembling the track , nothing better .

Tracks done

Did a bit more to the decks, glued on some handles and a search light on the front , just under the turret.

As I can't fit the track guards until the tracks are painted and the lower half of the T26 is also done, I've drilled some holes for the tools.

Then started the motor bike, engine first, bit small for me but seem to be getting there.

A lot of it will be hidden by the riders leg and of course the side car, just as well :smiling3:

Thanks for looking in.

John.

Good progress John. One day I must build something which warrants some metal tracks. Motorbikes at this scale are tiny but you'll sort it.

Tracks are excellent John:thumb2:,
That motor will look fine under paint, and surrounded by all the other engine related stuff;)

Thanks Andy, I remember your bike from some time ago, hopefully I can make something like it. Did you paint bits as you went , like the engine ?

Yep,sure did John..... at this scale it`s imperative really, because as the engine grows with all of the other components, some areas become completely inaccessible ;)

Nice job on the tracks John. You need some Somerset tea after that…..
Have this one on me, made about five miles from my house….

That range of motorcycles was made up until the mid 1980s, by the way…..God know why ;)
