The figures and the bike outfit show up just how small the tank is though, almost like one of Pete's Toons.

Cracking job John. Those figures you've altered have worked very well.

Started on the figure painting , did a black primer, then some Lifecolor Russian Uniform. Varying the shades.Leaving to dry over night before adding more thin costs of paint .
Weapons and kit also started painting .

Still adding very thin coats of paint , didn't seem as if anything was actually happening. No photos as not worth taking !

Evening all .
Well still painting thin coats on the figures.
One colour for the top and a second for the trousers. Except for the tank commander and driver .
Done some kit as well mn.Tracks have had two different primers on, one dark tracks 3rd gen and a AK rust primer.


More detailing tomorrow .

Impatient as I am, my hairdryer is a permanent fixture at the bench. It even has its own hanging hook like in a salon :smiling5:

Failing that I have a food dehydrator that I use as a mini oven. I don't get near its 70°C maximum though! :surprised:

I’ve got one for when I work on individual figures or busts. I always use it on cool. At a pinch you can use an airbrush with no paint in it. I don’t find it necessary for batch painted figures though. By the time I’ve got back to the first figure, it’s dry. I wouldn’t use a hairdryer with oils or enamels, by the way, you’ll just flock the figure with dust…..
