Yes I did just like playing Jenga. I think God got lazy and used the same template when he made SWMBOs...they all behave and sound alike. You mean you actually get off the sofa, relinquish the remote and dare to make the inside of the fridge untidy looking for a tin of coke, you do realise they are stacked in user order and not random..... :tears-of-joy:
Thanks Jim. Glad you like it.That's a great job on the canopy and cargo door.
Thank you too John.Wow, Richard. This is really being brought to another level. Superb scratchery.
John.
Ian, much obliged.Outstanding work with the doors.

Thanks Joe, appreciate you stopping by and commenting.Nice work so far Richard. A lot of effort is going into your build to transform this old kit into a gem

It does indeed look rather a mess. It looks to fit OK and your additions are spot on. I have no doubt that once the canopy is polished back it will be fine. I'd be interested to see how you go about the polishing. The next shot will give nightmares to anyone working on clear parts
It does doesn't it, Jim...left the joint to harden further before sanding again. Meanwhile I worked on the office...It does indeed look rather a mess. Fine work as always.

I use two grades of sand paper, Auto rubbing compound and Tamiya polishing compound with a final dip of Future, Paul.I use SWMBO's fingernail foam sanding block for clear parts. It has shape, smooth, buff & shine grades & works great.
Thanks Jim, sorry I forgot to take photos of the process but to let you know it will still looked slightly cloudy before the dip and you'll see the miracle happen...just look at the result. That cockpit really looks the part. Your additions make all the difference.

Thanks Doug, I like it too.Love the cockpit. Brilliant.
Thank you Jim.That canopy is brilliant :smiling2: :smiling2:
Sadly the seam line stays as the glue joint cannot be get at. Anyway it will only show in the bottom of the canopy as the rest will be covered by the painted frameGreat work with the canopy Richard, it doesn't look like the same part. Pity about the seam line though.

DittoMiraculous work on that canopy Richard. Superb!
