Er, simply not true……..sorry Doug. Greys can exhibit incredible variability in tone and they are not usually made by simply mixing black and white.

Go Mr. Smiff, Go!!! Looking real good Andy as it's not an easy camo job and very easy to go astray while doing it. If you're happy, then all the better. Besides, I don't think Hermann G. is going to come around and shoot you if it ain't perfect, or to RLM standards!!!...

So then,an update...
Masking was completed, took AGES,
Then....
Black,(partially), applied there,then..
Unmasked,yep, some bleed did appear, however, nothing that can't be sorted
...
I've also started the the camo, but I've reached total burn out now,so will be taking a rest from it now,what i HAVE done,still requires a filler bit of painting,but here tiz the moment..
This is quite mind zapping,and FAR from done, but I'm fairly happy up to now

.... So then, I've had my week off from this,but this evening I've completed the basic camo paint,and tidied up the black... some details to paint on the exhausts etc,then put some washes on....ere tiz at the moment...
Some of it needs going over, however,in general,I reckon I'm on track
