Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2023)

Ordered this for my Grandson (7). Turned up just in time!

He's got a few of the smaller Quick build kits under his belt now so this big one will be a good measure of how close he is to tackling one that needs gluing together.

How bloody big is that model?! Epic!!
You’ve probably been fooled by perspective that doesn’t look like it’s there :) The kit box is most likely resting on some kind of stool or table, rather than the floor like it looks like it is. AFV Club Centurion boxes are typical size for 1:35 scale MBT kits — I don’t know how big this one is, exactly, but according to Scalemates their original Mk. 5/1 kit comes in a 385 mm × 245 mm × 70 mm box. This one is almost certainly much the same.

My 1-87 scale U-Vll C is in a box that is over 860 mm long so I'm guessing it would be well over double that in length at 1-48 scale ;)

Just spent some of my Christmas money on these for the up coming Hurricane GB....

So, I'm now good to go.... although I need a pilot!

Chrimbo present from my daughter and partner. A bit modern for me normally but it looks good and in a big box.

Very nice, but 1/72 masks and a 1/48 kit?
Pete
HA!! Didn't notice that Pete!!
... Not to worry mind,I actually did get the 1/48 ones, but it wasn't a "Jaypeg" picture, therefore wouldn't fit into the forum's page, hence I just put in a generic one ;)
