Tim’s 1/72 IBG Inns of Court Daimler armoured car.

:tears-of-joy: :tears-of-joy: :tears-of-joy: Good luck with that, I’m quite rusty on little tanks….
No one will believe you. We've all seen your little Somuas! ;)

I'm just going to be so bold...
Could you imagine selling the decals from the RAC Gunnery School Lulworth vehicle?
I've circled the relevant decals (the most important for me would be the two WD Census numbers). If not, no problem - but if you do, I would be very interested in them.

No problem for me Andi. Wait until I’ve got them both done and if they are still there you will be welcome to them.

Well, I’ve made some progress.

I wasn’t going to use the interior….but what the hell. Only sketch painted though because I’m almost certain it will not be seen. Left off the crew seats because I lost one, and because I’ll probably put a crew figure in there and they could get in the way.

Main body now assembled…..tiny little beast isn’t it. About two inches long…..

Work on the lid and running gear next…….

Don't matter where I sit for Tim's great builds. I have my new glasses (look left) and I can finally see everything he does. Go, Tim, Go!!!...

They told me when I got mine that the specs would accentuate my eyes, not look like an owl looking through the bottom of a pair of milk bottles....

Mine make me look like my face is folding inwards at the middle LOL…..doesn’t worry me because without them I can’t see myself in the mirror….

Nice work Tim. Were your fuselage side panels warped too or was I just unlucky?

I think you must have been unlucky. Mine went together with finger pressure and a drop of TET. Could do with better attachment points for the internals though, they were very hit or miss.

Looks very nice indeed Tim!! Keep up the good work.

Thanks Andrew. Onto the suspension next…..about thirty parts I think…..this thing must set some sort of record for parts per linear inch of model LOL.

Bit further along……..

Must admit I’m amazed how many parts there are for such a small subject. I’m up to over sixty parts now, and I haven’t used about ten…..the mudguard support struts are in etch, and, along with most of the etch fret, are very lazily designed so I haven’t used them. They have no half etched bend lines, going with a complete half etched “detail “ middle section that need the edges folded up. It would be impossible to bend these accurately in this scale so I’m just leaving them off. Another problem is that the location points are vague to say the least, so there is a lot of guesstimating going on…..still, about half way now……
