Sad to read, but you can get help for this slip Rich. SAE for full details .
Sadly my friend with my health not so good i might be forced to get rid of 90 per cent of my kits.Just havent the inclination to do any modelling.Been that way long time.Shame coz in past i loved my modelling.Lose interest on projects so fast which is frustrating.
Rich.

Oil paints, synthetic brushes for dedicated use with same, low odour thinners, and some CA gel for assembling resin miniatures.

The blame for the oils I lay squarely at @Steve Ski 's door! :smiling5:
Nice collection of oils you have there. Tip - when you remove the cap, squeeze the bottom of the tube so that the paint is just at the opening and use a bit of tissue to soak up the oil before you put the paint on your pallet.

Richard,
Hold fast on that decision, it may be the effect of the health issue that is governing this, Wait a while and see how things go.
At the moment I am in a bit of a funk with Mr PTSD having raised its ugly head, pulling a box out, putting it away etc etc, and all because I glued the rear suspension on backwards and in trying to seperate the parts totally trashed the chassis. So hold on...

Nice on Peter!! Just go and buy some packing tape and carefully open it an then reseal it!! ;)

Ok chaps, so a run through of arrivals over the last three weeks or so.

They are a combination of museum and discount bookstore visits, second-hand eBay auctions wins, Lidl sales, discount vouchers from a national chain of hobby stores and very good prices for new kits.

In terms of the kits, I reckon that compared to the 'usual' prices they go for, I got these ranging from 20-50% cheaper than 'normal' and in a couple of cases they were the cheapest 'recent purchases' on eBay. Unfortunately, Royal mail did not treat a couple of them well despite good packing but fortunately none of the kits appear to be damaged.

Hope you like the look of them!

Got this from RAF Hendon...seeing as entrance is free, I thought I would support them by buying it (I damaged it)

Bought this whist on holiday from a store in the Lake District, as I want to learn more about the war in the Pacific

And now for the kits, in no particular order...and no, I did not pay the label price where you can see them!!

One can never have too many Typhoons!! I think I'm up to seven, with a special one still on advance order with Airfix.

A Lidl purchase......they need to change their range, as I now have all the ones they do, aside from the Cutty Sark! :smiling5:

This a very big box, even by 'combo' standards!!

These go for up to £30 on eBay, although low-mid £20s is the norm. This though only cost me £15 delivered.

This one was very cheap brand new and only cost £27 delivered.

This is probably my favourite and whilst not cheap, comes with a 100+ page book on Spitfires in the RAAF, which would probably cost £15-20 if published on its own. There are also so many decal options (21 to be exact), that it might actually be worth me getting three of four more Overtrees kits from Eduard to make the most of them

Aldi are doing airfix kits again......in mine they only had sherman firefly/tiger/spitfire mk1/tiger moth

i picked up a tiger....didnt fancy the rest

30 years service award from work.
All I had to do was give them a receipt and they gave me the cash back :smiling4:

She's a beauty. I pray that she's quieter, (a lot quieter), than my female!! Boy do we know we have her!!!! Behind those eyes may hide a she devil. On the other hand she may be a lovely little girl dog that you don't even know she's there!! Good luck with the training!! (And count your fingers frequently!!!!!) ;) :tears-of-joy: :tears-of-joy: :tears-of-joy:

Today, I received 2 x airbrushes from SteveT, (cheers Steve). And the ever so decent chap gave me lots pf useful stuff I have't as yet got around to obtaining. Namely, weathers 'stuff' pigments, pencils etc. So thank you @SteveT I'm really quite chuffed and will be trying them out hopefully tomorrow to see which one I will use for what!!
Plan is, one for primer only and the other for varnish only with the H&S Ultra for everything else!! We'll see!! ;) :rolling:
