i was looking at the meng ford gt in 1/12 scale im tempted

Looked at the 2 versions of that - pre coloured or paint yourself.
There's a YT video from Metro Hobbies ? in Australia comparing the unpainted and the Trumpeter/ Magnifier/ No name brand. Massive difference in costs (got mine for Approx £76 delivered) and the overall shape seems more accurate.
The Meng kit is also clip and screw together construction.

Great work. Those tyres and wheels have come out really well.

Well the roof and rear spoiler decals completely disintegrated when being masked up to paint the vents etc. So after whole week of masking, matching colours and more touching up it looks acceptable. So cleaning the spray booth and filters I am prepping for clearcoat.
Wheels have received a light wash and dry brushing with a matt coat on the tyres.

I can't see the defects in the photos, you should be very happy with the work you have done. Looking forward to seeing the GT40 shine
