I did a little bit more, I’m stuck with putting the pipes on, someone said put them in warm water but that’s not really helped, it’s still on my desk so not back in the box yet :)

If you mean the fuel pipes John, I find a hairdryer helps to soften then enough (I'm just in the same process on a Tamiya 1/12 Lotus 78)

I wouldn't buy another Porcher kit, for that sort of money, it should build itself. The instructions are quite poor, and most of the screws didn't fit properly.
 
Gorgeous job john , such an iconic car and scheme , as said from when F1 was interesting and varied. Its a particular fave of mine as I had the Corgi version of this car as a kid , driven by emerson fittipaldi , and it was my absolute favourite toy car ( actually it might be up in the loft still , I remember keeping it and passing it on to my son when he was a nipper !)
