Glad you like this pair. I had a lot of fun with them, and it's always nice when a Frankenfigure works out. Probably a couple of busts next- I've very much got back into 120mm, but am waiting for an order to arrive.

New laptop should arrive today, then I can stop begging my son for five minutes use of his.

Looks superb, what colours did you use for the 'white' trousers? , if you dont mind me asking :smiling2:

The white is simply mixes of Vallejo Off White and German Camo Black Brown. I usually start by mixing up a pale grey, then highlighting and shading as necessary. The only pure white is on the highlights, the rest, shades of grey. Adding the black brown to the white helps thicken up the pigments.

That yellow Peter had come out really full in depth, how many coats to get it like that ? as I thought it was one of the more difficult colours to paint.

Endless coats John. Adding white to it initially helped thicken it up, but still around 5-6 coats.

Very kind of you Andrew. I can only see the faults of course and I'm trying to resist the urge to get them out of the cabinet and have another go at them. Part of the problem was that the sculptor had incised very deep lines to define the edges of the cross straps which I wished I'd filled in order to get a more subtle finish. That and some clumsy painting.....

Computer issues solved - typing this on a new laptop.
