discussion 3 years to the day!

I've just noticed that it is exactly 3 years since I joined the forum. I must say that I have never once regretted this. The company is good, the modelmaking is inspirational, and with all the nausea over the past year, has kept me interested ( and entertained ).

I've only very recently joined and as Im still quite new to the hobby I found this forum inspiring, it's made me a bit more confident with what I'm doing and that's thanks to the friendly, helpful people on here who made me feel welcome, quess I'm here to stay for a while :smiling: :thumb2:

that was so long ago, that it seems to have happened to someone else! I remember the good & bad times, but have forgotten all the tedium that was the major part of sea life!

It is 2 years since I joined the forum and my time here has been great, very informative place and the great advice given freely by experienced modellers has helped me enormously when trying to improve my skills. This is the only model forum I am a member of and I am here for the long haul, nice friendly place with a bit of good natured banter here and there and although I have never met any other members in real life I feel that all here are like mates.

Glad you guys are onboard, sharing some inspirational builds and knowledge... keep it coming chaps. I've been here since Feb 2014 and wouldn't go anywhere else, no my builds aren't regularly posted but I'm still active.

I joined 3 days later...only forum I visit daily if possible. Friendly members it has with varied quality in the subject of modelling. The English sense of humour takes getting used to. Everyone seems to have a chair ready or a coat hanger. :smiling6:

Thanks to Mr. Race I joined one day later. I was surprised at all my friends were already here and made me feel better about the move. To all the “ New” members you will not find a better place than right here. There’s no nitpicking about any subject you are working on just support. Thanks guys for making this a good forum and you Mods thanks for not having a iron fist trust me I’m on a Railroad forum and it’s ran with iron fists it’s like walking on eggshells sometimes. I think we got it pretty here.

There was another site that everyone used - it was closed down shortly after their monthly publication ceased.
Luckily I had not just renewed my magazine subscription as quite a few lost their money.
